Saving Calvin - Birthday Nov. 11, 2007
About Calvin:
He is a very calm, loving, and smart cat. He gives us the look like the 1st image below to say, "Don't you understand?".
He never once has used his claws on skin. (Teeth, that's another matter.) He is a shoulder cat so don't be alarmed when he looks like he is about to attack your face. He loves being close, even more so now that he is in pain. Calvin communicates with his eyes, body lanugage and even verbally. He is an amazing gift from our Lord with his big paw and crazy crooked tail. We are praying for your help to keep him on this earth a litte while longer. Please read a little more about what he has going on, in the paragraphs below. Thank you!

Hi everyone and thank you for visiting our Saving Calvin page.
We are a loving family of 4 with a few creatures from our Lord that we consider our family. One of them in particular is Calvin. He is our indoor boy that travels with us on some outings. He is totally a toddler...he gets into everything, climbs everything including vertical walls. (He doesn't stay there of course. :-)) He runs like a highly excited 2 year old and then plows into things before coming to an abrupt stop. Typical kid!! That's our boy!

Anyway's, we came home one day and noticed that he was limping. We didn't thing too much of it because of how hard he plays. Then after about a week we decided to take him to see the vet thinking he hit something too hard and broke his left arm. Well, come to find out they believe he has cancer in the upper arm of his left leg. We were shocked and didn't want to believe it. He is NOT even 1 years old yet! How? why? You know all the questions that run through your mind when a loved one (human) gets cancer. (My father.) We are hurting as a family because we don't have the means to get the operation his leg and keep him with us a while longer. Also, you moms know that if we don't raise enough, my daughters that are 4 and 6 will have the hardest time with his passing. They are right at that, WHAT IF, stage.
